Prospect Surveys range from frontier basin, giant, high risk prospects to proven play trend prospects of much lower risk.

What do they provide?

Scotforth holds an ever-increasing inventory of RSDD-H prospects by basin, province, region and country as it continues surveying world-wide. Some are close to existing infrastructure, others are remote but offer the scope to become new infrastructure hubs if and when discovered.

When are they most useful?

Most offer specific new venture opportunity through either open acreage pursuit or through farm-in to existing licences. Some offer insights into the potential corporate value of licence holders that is as yet not perceived by such licence holders. Many have never been seen by industry or third parties before and are commercially available on exclusive terms and conditions. Others have become available from previous surveys that were either non-exclusive or have become non-exclusive after expiry of exclusivity periods with original clients.

Exclusivity?

All are available for commercial deals with exploration companies and can be dealt in a variety of ways, including participation alliances of various forms. They are priced according to the nature of the prospects, to their exclusivity condition and to the efforts incurred by Scotforth in generating them.
